I’ve written about questions to ask at a job interview before. An interview is not an audition. You’re not doing a little dance and trying to get the employer to like you. It’s a fact-finding mission, for both sides. You want to impress them, yes. But you also want data about the job and the corporate culture it inhabits. Here are a few corporate culture questions to ask:
- How do most people spend their lunch? (I stole this question from Lifehacker)
- What is the average length of employment here?
- Why is this job vacant?
- How would you describe the supervision style here?
