One way to look at life is through seasons of planting and seasons of harvesting. There are times in your life – college, for instance, when planting dominates. You spend most of your time sowing seeds for your future, reaping only a little. At other times, the harvest dominates. You begin to capture the fruits of your work. You are always sowing, though, and you’re always reaping, no matter which season dominates.
Some questions on your harvest:
- What are you sowing right now? What are you harvesting? Is your balance where it should be?
- Are you planting the right things for the future?
- Which season makes you more comfortable, planting or harvesting?
