It’s easy to to think of our lives as a series of missed opportunities – one long list of things we could have done better. You can flip that script, though, and see life as a chance to use your strengths. Some self-coaching questions to get you started:
- What strengths did I use today?
- What strengths have I drawn on in my past?
- How can I apply the strengths I have used before to face my future challenges?
- How can I build on my most prominent strengths to bolster them even more? What complementary strengths could I develop to support them? (for example, if you’re really good at understanding other people, you could work on building communication skills to help you use that understanding)
