Alison Green from Ask a Manager shares a personal story about sexual harassment in the workplace. For me, it really highlights the challenges of making good choices in complex situations. Alison made what she thought was the best choice, and now she’s pretty sure it was wrong.

This isn’t a situation where someone wasn’t being brave. This is a situation where someone couldn’t identify the brave choice. (This is also, by the way, the kind of situation where a coach can really help you think things through.)

New York Magazine has a great piece on how to decide if you should report a former boss for harassment. One key point: reporting is not your goal here. The goal is consequences for the perpetrator.
