Resources for change: Basic job hunting

Three useful resources for finding a development job:

  1. The Ask a Manager Blog is full of useful advice on resumes, cover letters, and interviews.
  2. If you’re tired of going through DevEx, UNjobfinder is actually a collection of all kinds of international jobs, with a focus on development. They also offer a coaching service focused on finding international jobs.
  3. Nobody is better at answering basic questions about humanitarian jobs than Nick McDonald. When I was working for USAID and couldn’t take on coaching clients, I sent everyone to him, because he’s the real deal. His blog is a great source of answers.
